Welcome to the Hookah Garden page.

Like everyone ya probably wanna know wasss uuuppp!

Welllll... the only thing holding us up is the financing the construction.

Apparently banks only lend money to companies doing business in China.

I've been working on it myself but progress is slow.

However... We have completed phase one!

The Happy Pipe & Hookah Lounge

is now open on the second floor!

Let me tell you how you can help!

A company called Intuit , a large software company, is giving business grants

to small businesses like us.

The more votes we get the better chance we have of getting one of those grants,

the sooner Stroudsburg has the grooviest Hookah Lounge in the world!

Click the link below , vote , and tell your friends!

Thanks!

Check out the pictures below.

The building is between the Sherman Theater and the Siamsa Bar.

RisK is on the left and the new Brooklyn Heros is on the right. (was Blimpies)

The fake windows will be replaced after the 2nd floor gets lowered.

Looking toward the front windows, We removed the sheetrock walls.

We're going to lower the (the ceiling) second floor 4 feet.

A view from the front door.

Jane and Debbie hauling stuff in from upstairs so we can lower the floor.

A third of the way in the space.

Looking toward the front of the space from 2/3rds of the way in.

The back of the space where office and storage will be.

When you look at the front of the building from the outside you see fake painted windows.

The 2nd floor was raised and went through the windows. They were bricked in.

The floor is partially lowered and the brick has been drilled out.

You can see the pockets where the floor was and where it's being lowered to.

This part of the 2nd floor was useless as the floor to ceiling height was only 6 feet.

After the floor is lowered it will be 10 feet.

The ceiling was wired, sheet rocked and painted before the floor is lowered.

Once the floor joists were half  lowered Tom and Matt secured the floor.

The floor had to be secured so we could move the heavy glass counters

to the lowered portion of the floor.

The glass counters were already there on the 2nd floor.

The counters are now on the lowered portion of the floor.

Now we can lower the 2nd half of the floor.

Getting ready to lower the joists of the 2nd half.

You can see what will be the Hookah Garden below.

2nd half of the joists are lowered and we're securing the floor.

When you walk into the 2nd floor you immediately went up these stairs.

They will be removed, the joists lowered and the stairs replaced further back.

We made sure we had the door locked so no one came in and took a 14' drop.

Looking in and down from the doorway.

Looking in from the 1st level and the new lowered floor up above.

Looking toward the front and the new floor above.

Don't walk in the door on the 2nd level yet or that first step will be a dooozzzy!

The steps are moved back.

The floor is replaced and the walls are goin up!

Finally the fake windows are comin down!

We need to replace some damaged bricks!

Wow!   Daylight!

Windows! Goin in!

Replacing the damaged bricks.

It first must be wrecked to be fixed!

Big news!  Oh look! They're replacing the windows!

Pella Windows!  Oh yeah baby!  Nutin but the best!

Starting to take shape.

Clean up the mess, a little  paint...

Lets put a shelf on top of the wainscoting and we'll paint it red.

Painting ... we're gettin there.  Note the red shelf on the right.

The Happy Pipe!
